This a deeply personal record for Edel, but despite its personal nature, the album beautifully communicates relatable human experiences. "This album represents a four-year period of my life," says Edel, "It’s representative of specific people and means a lot to me. While my experiences - losing someone in a relationship, or losing someone to death or being nostalgic about my childhood—are specific to me, they’re all universal human experiences."

Edel is currently on tour in support of the new release. Exclaim! caught his album release show at The Roxy Theatre in Victoria last weekend and wrote that, "Edel's West Coast charm and the way he weaves his personal experiences into his songs really made his performance outstanding. His music is relatable, and live, Edel often feels like an old friend."
