Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

We are very excited to welcome Victoria-based band Isobel Trigger to the roster. Cordova Bay will be releasing band's upcoming five-track EP, Nocturnal on August 12th.

Isobel Trigger is a synth-driven pop rock band made up of Felicia Harding (vocals/synth), Brett Faulkner (guitar), Ariel Tseng (drums), and Kyle Lowther (bass). With exotic vocals, driving lead lines, and heart-thumping grooves, the band weaves a musical web that draws you to the dance floor. Isobel Trigger is about delicate innocence meeting howling distortion; soft in one moment then crashing into powerful crescendos the next.

The band caught a recent wave of well-deserved hometown attention, being named The Zone Modern Rock 91.3ís Band of the Month, given the honour of playing Victoria's Rock The Royal event, and being invited to play Tall Tree Music Festival in Port Renfrew later this month. The band will also perform at the Smithers Midsummer Music Festival along with Alex Cuba, The Pack A.D., and more!

Isobel Trigger has teamed up with the Noah Edwards Band for a Double EP Release Party at Club 9one9 on Saturday, August 9th. Get your $8 advance tickets at eventbrite.ca for a night of dancing and supporting two great up-and-coming local Victoria acts!
